Vintage Italian 34” Alfredo Zellini Norina Walking Doll Original Box Flirty Eyes

This hard-to-find unique doll from 40’s is coming with her original box. The box has no cover. It has some wear. There is an original protection stuffing inside the box and original label on the box.
Looks like the doll is made of composition and wood. The wig is a human hair. It is unglued and in pretty good condition. The eyes of the doll are flirty and they are also sleepy. The mechanism pf the eyes work well. When the doll moves her legs, the head is moving and the eyes occasionally move aside. However, looks like something work not properly as the eyes move just sometimes. We don’t know how the doll is supposed to work but we are assuming that the eyes should move more often. The eyelashes on the right eye are a little worn.
There is some crazing to the face and other small imperfections to the head that are shown on the pictures. The head is not moving to the straight position. Again, we don’t know how the doll should look or work and try to describe her as we can. There is some stain on the neck that possibly is a glue. Some paint on the head is peeled off. The paint on the face is in pretty good condition.
The body is nicely preserved. The crier does not work or was not activated. We don’t know if the strip of paper that is under the crier is supposed to be ripped of to activate it. We just left it as is. The arms have a new string. There is some piece on the right side of the body that is broken and will need a repair. This piece is connecting between the body and the arm. Some places on the body and the limbs are missing the layer of paint and have cracks. Small chips to the fingertips on both hands. There is a long crack on the back of the right leg. Please take a look at the pictures as they provide additional information about the condition of the doll.
Norina is wearing all original dress, pantaloons and underskirt. The dress is in nice condition but does show signs of wear including small holes. The shoes and socks are also original and looks like were never removed. They are a little dusty but in great condition. The hat is also in great condition and has original tag. Despite some worn areas the doll is in very good condition considering her age and the materials she made of. Great example from the past! The doll has no stand.
