Beautiful Vintage unusual handmade bonnet and booties.  It was boxed for sending when made.  These had been made a  good deal before I got them and I have had them for a good many years in storage. Such a beautiful pattern...Took some work to make.  There  is no sign of usage and they were made for giving away, but for some reason they didn't get sent.  A great gift idea.  Not sure of the kind of yarn because of the age.
