Vintage  6lb. Leetonia  Mining or Railroad rock pick - E R 4
Marking on the pick: LEETONIA U.S.A. 6LB ER4
E R 4  I do not know what it stands for , But I think it could be railroad.
This is a solid head with no breaks or cracks. Ends or tips are in good condition.
There are scratches, surface rust, surface pitting and wear to the head do to use.
Handle eye is a clean with surface rust inside.,
Length of the head 20-5/8 inches, measurement of the large end or tip is 1-1/8",
other end is pointed pick for the rocks.
Yes the head is darken, scratches, surface rust from age, use and storage. But over all a clean head.
The weight of the head is 5 lbs. 10 oz.
This is a nice rock pick,
All you need is a handle and it is ready to go to work.
