Vintage 1950's Child Sailor Suit 18 Buttons Zipper Size Not Known Unbranded

Description

Vintage Child’s Sailor Suit Navy Blue.  Cracker Jack Style, Bell Bottoms, Sleeve Stripes and Patch. Size is not known.  No tags or markings on this suit.  Fabric is heavy, likely wool.  Doing the math, I'm dating this suit mid 1950's because I have seen a picture of my husband wearing the outfit when he was about 2 years old. The fabric is very good considering the age.
Shirt
V-Collar, 3 white stripes.  Back has Flap with continued 3 stripes and 2 stars.  Long Sleeves.  Left sleeve has eagle patch and 3 red chevron design stripes.  Each sleeve cuff has 3 white stripes and 2 anchor design buttons.  Buttons are present and functional on both sleeves.  There is a breast pocket and a neck/collar pocket in the inside of the shirt.  The inside neck portion of the Shirt has a lining.  The left side of the shirt has a zipper which is intact and works.
13" from shoulder to bottom of shirt hem.  12.5" from shoulder to shoulder.  Sleeves are 14" long (including cuff).
Pants
These pants are long and narrow.  The waist has 1 anchor design button and has an additional upward flap panel with 13 anchor design buttons.  Total of 14 buttons on the pants which are all present and functional.  2 pockets, one on each side above the front flap. The original hem was let out and a new hem line is hand sewn. There are three small fabric wear areas on the back of right pant leg (last picture).
Waist is 9" side to side, 18" around.  Pant legs are 18" crotch to bottom of the hem and 27" from waist to bottom of the hem.
