19-Bolt Hole silicone gasket.
Count your bolt holes to be sure this is the correct gasket for your bike.
One silicone gasket - 3/32" thick
Reusable
Installation instructions:
Wash
the cover and cylinder with solvent.
Remove all traces of oil.
The surface must be
DRY
(NO OIL or lube of any type).
Install gasket
DRY
.
Torque to 15 inch pounds
Do not over tighten
- it causes the gasket to bulge or "pooch" out.
If that does happen then back off on the torque.
It is okay to use Loctite on the bolts.
TO RE-USE GASKET:
Wash gasket in hot soapy water.
Rinse well and dry thoroughly.
Re-install using the above instructions.
