    Description

    It is hard to come by recordings of
    Swami Muktananda
    leading group chanting.  The classic chanting was recorded at his ashram,
    Gurudev Siddha Peeth
    in
    Ganeshpuri, India
    in 1979 and released in 1980.  This audio cassette (SYD 16) was purchased in South Fallsburg, NY at
    Shree Muktananda Ashram
    in the early 90's.  The cassette was listened to occasionally back then and so has been gently used, and then lovingly stored in a smoke-free environment since then.  Both cassette and case are in very good condition.  I have just checked it and it plays well.
    Side one is 42:16 in length and contains
    Narayana Narayana, Introductory Mantras, the
    Vishnu Sahasranam
    , Glorification, and Hymn Praising the Avadhut
    .  Side two is 36:45 in length and contains
    Nityananda Mahan
    , the chant in praise of
    Swami Muktananda's Guru
