Purpose :
Shaligram has designed extremely elegant and attractive Shree Shaligram rosary, lockets and rings of different types for the benefit of the devotees. As per Salagrama Kosha volume-1, by Dr. S K Ramachandra Rao, in early 1900s the Trupati God Balaji (Venkateshwar) used to be decorated with a rosary of round Shaligram Shilas .
