You are looking at a vintage Barth jack. It is a heavy piece. When closed the top measures 20 1/2” tall and the plate is 3” tall. The plate was welded on. When fully extended the top measures 31 1/2” tall and the plate 13 1/2”. The part where you put the pipe in to jack is 2 1/2” in diameter. The base is 10 x 6 and is 5/8” thick. It ratchets up properly but I haven’t figured out how to ratchet down. I get it back to closed position but if there was weight on it my way would not work. The only marking I see that might pertain to ton lift is the 6F on the side. I cannot find any information on lifting capacity. The postage should be outrageous with the size and weight.
