  • Condition: This offering is for an antique early 20th century, circa 1930's, Native American Hopi Indian Dance Rattle. The rattle was made from a gourd with a wooden handle and pebbles or seeds inside to provide the rattle. The overall length end to end is app. 13"and it retains it's original paint decorated surface. Based on the amount of wear combined with an unusual shape and decoration I'm thinking this may have been a tribal used piece. The condition is as you see with overall scattered wear to the surface but no cracks, breaks or repairs. This is one of four rattles that we acquired this week, please check our other listings of the other three.

    This offering is for an antique early 20th century, circa 1930's, Native American Hopi Indian Dance Rattle. The rattle was made from a gourd with a wooden handle and pebbles or seeds inside to provide the rattle. The overall length end to end is app. 13"and it retains it's original paint decorated surface. Based on the amount of wear combined with an unusual shape and decoration I'm thinking this may have been a tribal used piece. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 15.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
