Authentic and unique hand crafted folk art dolls Ilonka by artist Ilona Martin . Her dolls were featured in national magazines, including Country Living and Better Homes & Gardens and also were exhibited in the Museum of American Folk Art and the Craft in New York and Folk Art Museum in Los Angeles.
These beautiful dolls have Folk Art doll have papier-mâché heads which were painted, formed, baked, sealed and glazed. All Ilonka dolls have unproportional elongated stuffed bodies made of different patterns cotton fabric, kerchief, signature wooden heart. Tallest doll is 30”; two other dolls are about 23” and 22” tall.
Signed "Ilonka C89" on the back of their head. Some marks to their heads.
