This
listing is for a large vintage 2 man railroad tie, rail or logging log carrying tongs.
The handle measure 39" wide in closed condition, and 45" when it is open.
The tips measure right at 5" closed and open up to 16 1/2" wide.
Note that 1 of the tips is missing a small piece as shown.
It is marked on both sides of the arms with a M, 34A, and a symbol, logo,
abbreviation, that looks like a
VTY
, but could be something else.
They operate smoothly, and would make a great addition to any collection, use or display.
