Antique Original Hubbard & Co. Cast Steel Ship or Top Maul.
This maul has been unmodified from it's original state. The item is very good condition, with consideration to the age. The wooden handle is a tad bit loose, although it does not come loose from the head and can be secured tighter. The hammer is clearly marked with an early 1900's "H in the shield marking" and a number 5 denoting the weight. The handle measures 12" the maul measures 8" end to end with a weight of 5lb's.
