Thank you for your interest. I am a Graduate Gemologist (GG) from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). I am a trusted, 5th generation jeweler with over 120 years of family exposure in the fine jewelry business. The jewelry I sell is second hand / estate jewelry. This means it is preowned. There will be signs of wear, likely scratches on the metal and/or stones. I shoot additional photos of items magnified under 10x with a jewelers loupe to highlight any imperfections. Please be aware that different instruments can vary, including MM measurements with calipers, carat / pennyweight / gram weight on scales. I use scales legal for trade and fine calipers, however if you receive an item that is slightly different from my measurements this could be because of discrepancies between our equipment. Also please be aware that photos and colors can vary widely across different monitors, smartphones etc. I might adjust my images slightly to reflect the true color of the gemstones / jewelry. I represent all items accurately and to the best of my knowledge. Each item has been inspected by myself and meticulously recorded. I only sell jewelry that is in wearable condition and is ready for a new life of ownership. This means prongs are inspected to ensure no stones will fall out. Items are looked over for any imperfections that would inhibit new life of ownership. It is my goal to accurately describe all jewelry to limit any likelihood of returns or doubt among buyers. I will include pictures of hallmarks, makers marks and metal purity marks. If there are no images of these marks, please know that all items, regardless of markings have been tested with both acids for metal purity and also an electronic metal tester. All stones have been tested, diamonds with a diamond tester or colored stones through various stages of identification including but not limited to spectroscopy, refractive index, specific gravity etc. I will include all lab certificates that may accompany an item. I will inform you of any stones or pieces that I have identified as treated. In the case of certain items, especially with rings, I will state whether or not it is sizable to suit customers needs.
