Antique WILLIAMS FORGED IN U.S.A., NUMBER 13, RAILROAD wrench, 8 Lb, MASSIVE!

Here is a very nice, early WILLIAMS FORGED IN U.S.A., NUMBER 13, RAILROAD / TRANSPORTATION open-ended wrench. This wrench is massive. Wrench opening is 2 ¼ inches. Total length of wrench is approximately 20 ¼ inches, and the total weight is approximately 8.04 pounds. This wrench has been very lightly / carefully restored (no harsh chemicals or abrasives), which has preserved and brought out an amazing patina. Restoration was finished with a light coat of high-end axe wax. This wrench looks great; it could be the center piece of any tool collection. At one time this wrench was painted bright yellow, as there are still some small remnants of yellow paint, which have been preserved. “13 stamp is clean and deep. Williams stamp, with the W inside of the diamond, is nice. “T” forged into the neck of the wrench on the backside. There is a very light, for the most part unreadable (and easily overlooked) punch stamp from a previous owner on the backside head, the first letter is a “U” and the last is a “D” a third letter is possibly a “T.” Can’t say enough good things about this one.
