    Description

    Antique 18k Diamond Large Brooch of a Bird
    This impressive beauty is finely detailed with hand etching on all the feathers.  Tons of old diamonds throughout this yellow and white 18k gold brooch. The bird I think is a crane or an egret or in that family.  The brooch is marked but I can't figure it out.  I've shown it to several jewelers in NYC and opinions vary from French to Russian to Middle Eastern but all agree it is an excellent and fine piece.  The mark is the last image but I'm unsure it's oriented in the correct direction. Regardless it's a finely done antique and hand made piece.
