    Description

    exact item shown, variable optical attenuator, removed from decommissioned satellite ground station equipment.  There are 6 attenuators, and I have three optical feed through panels, as shown in the photo.  These were bought buy a buyer who turned the adjustment screw the wrong way and jammed it and then complained that it was stuck and demanded a return (which I accepted), he dropped them in an envelope with no packing or protection and the optical cable was ripped off of two of them, it is attached but I don't know if it is undamaged on the others.  these are easy to repair - get a think cable with the right connectors, open the attenuator up and loop the cable inside exactly as you find it, then glue or tape the attenuator back together.
    you are buying all 6 of these as a single lot.
