1981 CORNHUSK DOLL FIGURINE by PEGGIE KILGORE--POCAHONTAS & SON

Description

This is a wonderful piece of art made by Peggie Kilgore and her husband Claude.  It is based on a Sedgeford Hall portrait circa 1830 which at one time was believed to be a portrait of Pocahontas and her son.  The cornhusk dolls are made by Peggie and the wooden base and bench are made by her husband.  The base measures 5" x 7", and the height of the piece is 6 1/2".
Condition is excellent.
