    Description

    This antique lifting tool/railroad tie puller with tongs and a hook is marked March 1, 1870 A. J. Nellis and Co Pittsburg (there was no “h” in the name of the city at that time) PA.These are cast iron and seem to work. The jaws run smoothly.No cracks or repairs. They are covered with surface rust.Total size: 17” long. When the tongs are spread, the total width is 14 ¼”.Please email me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
